Terms Of Service

The Terms and Conditions set forth below comprise the agreement (“Agreement“) between you and Tintperts, llc. (“Tintperts“), a California llc, governing your use of our mobile tinting service (the “Service“) which is available through https://tintperts.com (the “Site“).

GENERAL

Tintperts LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

AUTOMOTIVE

Tintperts personnel, in the course of performing their tasks, do not hold accountability for things of value left in the cars by the customers. They’re not also held responsible for damage existing before the task, for non-factory sourced parts, custom accessories, damage to electric antennas that don’t retract and any other damage to alterations or modifications in and on the vehicles which hinder proper installation of tint.

The truck beds should have no debris or litter when the staff start work and lockouts caused by security alarms will not be deemed their fault. All the services could have additional charges and the results and costs to the customer will be based on the size, type and condition of the car. The listed prices are subject to changes without prior announcement. Tintperts will not be accountable for damage claims after the vehicle has left the perimeters of Tintperts property. If the vehicle is a SUV, TRUCK, VAN OR LARGE TRUCK, EXPECT EXTRA CHARGES.

PERFECT INSTALLATION

It is not guaranteed that a tint application will be 100% free of particles even though all tint is carefully applied. This is because static and floating particles can’t be avoided, whether indoors or outdoors.

DARK, LIMO, BLACKOUT TINT FILMS

Dark, Limo and Blackout films have higher heat absorption rates, so they are considered higher risk films. Glass temperature and expansion is unavoidable when there is heat present, so Tintperts can’t be held responsible for broken glass. Therefore, whenever there is a customer request for Dark, Limo and Blackout films, they don’t have warranty against glass breakage.

ACCESS

For proper installation of Tintperts films, there is a required 4′ minimum clearance for the access area.
This is also based on International Window Film Association regulations. The Tintperts installer should be provided the minimum area allowance to be able to stand directly in front of the glass which will have film installed. The installer should also be able to step backward a full 4 feet to access the task accomplished afterwards.
If the said minimum clearances cannot be possible, there must be written consent for Tintperts to be able to kneel on, climb on or stand at the working area so that the quality of the installation could still be accomplished.

BEST MATCH

At the time of the inspection before beginning the task, we will determine the film type that is the Best Match to the existing colored glass or film. It will not be an exact match, but it will be based on Tintperts professional opinion and available films.

CLIENT SIZES

The film that will be cut and ordered will be based on the sizes requested by the client. Any discrepancies or errors discovered later onsite can effect a change order for new materials, a new trip to the supplier and additional labor hours.
In this situation, the client will be liable for restocking fee (20%) and any other new costs which will be incurred after the discrepancies are discovered.
Please be careful with the size estimates and choice of film before signing the job order.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

Weather conditions have a lot to do with the successful interior installation of window film. Tintperts will have the final decision on whether to install window film on particular days which have inclement weather.
In particular, wind, rain, humidity and dew will negatively affect quality of installation.

Installation Area

An enclosed area is preferred for installation. A garage is an example of a working area that works well for this kind of task.
Whenever necessary, a power generator of the area might be utilized in case of power outage. If the owner of the place doesn’t permit its use, the installation will not continue. No installation is ever done on the street.

FADING

Fading means the natural occurrence of deterioration of materials over a period of time. Window film installation doesn’t guarantee 100% prevention of fading, even though it can lower the rate of fading.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Since window coverings are ordered and then cut based on job size and client selection, they cannot be used for another job order. Therefore, orders canceled after the booking within 24 hours of booking will have a $50 fee.

REMOVAL PROCESS

Tintperts is a professional service which strives to perform to the highest standards possible for window film installation and removal. But there will always be imperfections in the glass or even glass breakage. There is also the possibility, when removing or replacing rear window with defroster that the defroster lines will be damaged.

Therefore, Tintperts will not be liable for any undesired damages that may occur during the removal or scraping process of window film.

WATER USAGE

Water is a necessary component in our business. It is used in the installation of window film and applied with a spray bottle or pressurized spray canister.
Please inform Tintperts beforehand of any water sensitive material in the work area that needs to be removed. The company will not be liable for any damage due to contact with water and we will limit the contact of water with other surfaces, other than the vehicle glass, as much as possible.

AFTER INSTALLATION

Roll Down – DO NOT roll down the windows for the next 48 hours after installation. Tintperts is not liable if you roll down windows prior to said timeframe mentioned. You will have to pay an additional fee for a reinstallation.

Cleaning – Do not wash inside windows for the next 3 days

Allow 1 week for film material to cure
