What’s the process to install window film?
First we do a deep clean on all windows to ensure the window is clean, and all possible contamination has been removed. After cleaning the windows and the frames, we cut the window film to the size of your windows and prepare the windows for installation. Once film is placed on the windows, we squeegee out the water solution and cut corners to fit your windows. Finally, we wipe the newly installed film down and clean any water remaining.
How much does window film cost?
Window film installation prices very greatly based on the type of film being used and the film manufacturer you choose to install. We price installation prices on square footage, and it can cost anywhere from $6 sq ft to $20 per sq ft
Can you provide an estimate over the phone?
We sure can! All we need from you is for you to tell us the type of windows you have, whether they are single pane, dual pane, or triple pane, and provide the measurements for each window. Once you provide that, we’ll provide you with a quote based on your film needs.
Do you have a minimum number of windows you install?
We do not have a minimum amount of windows, but we do have a minimum amount we charge for an installation and that is $425. This typically is for people who need 3 or less medium-sized windows tinted with a dual reflective film.
How long does an installation take?
There are a number of things that affect the time of installation and that could include: How many windows, height of windows, internal or external installation, cleanliness of windows, and the removal of old film. We give all our customers an estimate of the time for installation and if there are any deviations on the job, we will notify you immediately
Is there any type of warranty?
All residential window film we install includes a limited lifetime warranty, and a 3-10 12-year limited warranty on commercial properties against cracking, peeling, discoloration, manufacturer defects, and bubbling.
Does window film offer privacy at night?
Many customers ask for this and unfortunately, windows are created to work in the daytime and not at night. There aren’t any windows films on the market at this time that offer day and night complete privacy. If you need privacy and don’t mind not being able to see out, you can use decorative window film (white frost, clear frost) to have complete two-way privacy.
Does window tint go on the inside or outside?
Most solar film is installed on the interior of windows in residential and commercial settings. With that being said, there are exterior window films available for homes and commercial use. Speak with a team to learn more about which is best for your needs!

Are bubbles normal after installation?
It’s 100% normal for some water bubbles to be remaining after the installation of solar window film. This is what we call the drying process and these water bubbles will look as if the water will not go anywhere but within a few weeks it will evaporate. Do not push or attempt to squeegee out any water bubbles you see because this can cause damage to the film.
Can I remove the film easily?
All window films can be removed with just a razor blade and a lot of free time. It’s not difficult but just time-consuming for someone who does not have professional experience.
How do I clean the windows after installation?
Before cleaning your windows, please make sure that you have waited at least 30 days before cleaning. To clean, simply use a microfiber cloth or lint free paper towels and use water and ammonia free soap to clean your windows.
How much heat can window tint really reduce?
Window films can block up to 84% of heat that’s coming through your home or office windows. Generally, the darker the window film, the more heat it will block from entering your home.
Is the installation process loud?
The process of installing window film in your home or office is not very loud at all. If we need to remove window film, the removal process of film can get loud due to scraping and pulling old film off. In either case, we try our best to get it off as quickly as possible and with the least amount of noise.
Can my windows crack or break if I install film?
We go through all the precautions before we install window film at any customer’s home. We verify the type of glass you have, the thickness, and use a film to glass chart to help us narrow down the safest solution for an installation. By doing this, we are completely confident in saying that your windows won’t crack.
How dark will it make my home?
Window film will darken your room the darker window film you choose to go with. Typically, the most dramatic difference will be a 5% window film. If you don’t want a darker look, you can choose a lighter dual reflective film or choose a clear ceramic option to eliminate this issue.
Will this protect my furniture?
Yes! All window films we offer will block 99% of UV rays that lead to fading and cracking of furniture, hardwood floors, paintings, and any other valuables you may have in your home.
